To nothing crave is purity That is the fruit of verity
Purity (of mind) consists in freedom from desire; and that (freedom from desire) is the fruit of the love of truth
Desire's decease as purity men know;That, too, from yearning search for truth will grow
தூயநிலை என்றுக் கூறப்படுவது அவா இல்லா திருத்தலே யாகும், அவா அற்ற அத்தன்மை மெய்ப்பொருளை விரும்புவதால் உண்டாகும்.
மனத்தூய்மை என்பது ஆசை இல்லாமல் இருப்பதே; ஆசை இல்லாமல் இருப்பதோ மெய்ப்பொருளை விரும்புவதால் உண்டாகும்.
தூய்மை என்பது பேராசையற்ற தன்மையாகும் அத்தூய்மை வாய்மையை நாடுவோர்க்கே வாய்க்கும்
