புகழ்ந்து சொல்கின்றவர் சொல்பவை எல்லாம் வறுமையால் இரப்பவர்க்கு ஒரு பொருள் கொடுத்து உதவுகின்றவரின் மேல் நிற்கின்ற புகழேயாகும்.
சொல்வார் சொல்வன எல்லாம், இல்லை என்று வருபவர்க்குத் தருபவர்மேல் சொல்லப்படும் புகழே.
போற்றுவோர் போற்றுவனவெல்லாம் இல்லாதவர்க்கு ஒன்று வழங்குவோரின் புகழைக் குறித்தே அமையும்
